About

My name is Sharon DeNiear. I am a techie, with an eye for detail, who loves fiber. Earlier this year, when I first heard the tech-editing knitting and crocheting patterns, I realized I have been doing this for years.

As a graphic artist, I have been working with designers for over 20 years, helping them to bring their designs into reality. I have also been knitting, crocheting for over 40 years and I have been teaching knitting and crocheting for over 20 years. In all these experiences, I have come to realize I have been tech editing for a long time. After hearing that designers are looking for people to help them with this service I knew I had found my place.

Just to make sure I wasn’t missing anything I decided to take Joeli Kelly’s Masterclass in Tech Editing. This amazingly detailed class showed just how perfectly suited I was for this new role. I now know I am ready to start accepting new designers to my client list. I look forward to helping the next group of designers I work with look amazing.

If you’d like more info on tech editing and what I can help you with, check out my tech editing page.
